A reader lives a thousand lives

Found here

To this day I haven't met someone as boring as me. No, really! You know what was on top of my list for Christmas presents? Books. I've been a bookworm as long as I remember. And I still have all my books from my childhood and receiving more this last month is creating a little problem. I love printed books but the bad part is that they are taking way too many space in my little room. I really want to give a chance to the Kindle, but e-books are not 'my thing'. Ugh, so difficult! A lot people like them so maybe I will think about it a little more. At the moment I have five books in my bedside table that I can't wait to read them all: The Perks of Being a Wallflower, A Game of Thrones, L.A. Candy Series, The Best of Me, Unsaid Things (McFly's autobiography - yes, I'm such a fan. haha). Right now I'm finishing reading "The Choice" by Nicholas Sparks. That means I have a box of tissues right next to the book.

Hopefully my next post will have more photos. My computer is broken but my camera isn't, so I don't have an excuse to not take photos. I'm not doing the 'take a photo everyday' project, I just want to experiment more since I can't take a photography class this semester. Kind of sad about it maybe next semester.

Thanks for reading! Have a lovely day!
xx

  1. I'm considering to try the whole e-book thing, but I don't know if it's going to work. Having an actual book in your hands is different, the weight, the smell, you can feel it. You can make it yours. But as usual, I like to keep up with all these new things, besides in, let's say 15/20 years?, they probably won't produce books anymore! The Perks of Being a Wallflower is great, currently reading it as well.

    1. That's exactly what I think! How can I ignore the joy of having the actual book over something electronic. I really like the idea of having a book of over 400 pages in my purse whenever I go, but I feel I will regret it later if I buy the e-book. Maybe I will try it. Ohh decisions! Can't wait to read Perks! It has great reviews and it seems that people love it.
