To send a letter is a good way to go somewhere without moving anything but your heart

"What a lot we lost when we stopped writing letters.  You can't reread a phone call." - Liz Carpenter

When I was in High School, me and one of my best friends started writing each others letters just to keep each other updated on what was going on in our life in a very fun way. I don't know about you, but I love to see letters in the mail (ones that are not bills and uni stuff, does are not fun!). They put a smile on my face and I'm always eager to know what says inside and I always try not to break them but they had sometimes for being an anxious person. So we both love the idea of writing letters and when we went to university that are miles and miles away from each other, we continued especially on our birthdays since we can't spend time together this is our way to celebrate, express our feelings and just keep in touch when we don't have time to call. The best thing about this now, is sending postcards from different parts of the world. And this time I was just so excited I needed to share a bit in here. Since my birthday is coming soon, besides the letters of course (and very cute! I might add) she sent me candy!! What?! I've never had candy from Japan and these taste amazing. My mom was starting at me like I was nuts, "It's just Kit-Kats calm down" "Noooo, they are different!" haha Oh, well. I think this was the best Monday I've had in a while. I'm very thankful to have a friend like her that I can share little things like this and that means the world to me!

    1. It's the best! I wish more people use it more often instead of emails. x

  2. How fun! I absolutely love receiving mail as well- it's just so special and almost magical. Definitely something that is so rare these days. I can't believe those kit kats are green- what flavor are they? They look interesting, I can't imagine what they taste like! :)
