Chop, Chop!

A week ago I went to the hairdresser and had a few inches cut off my hair. I just couldn’t wait until the New Year, which was the original plan to have long hair through out these last months of the year and get it cut in January. Even thought I do love the messy bun look I was really getting tired of having every single day the same hairstyle. I just wasn’t feeling motivated or inspired to do something with it. So I just said let’s do the bob haircut (again)! I even want to go back and get it cut even shorter.

On other news, Thanksgiving is just in less than a week! And then finals week… Good luck to everyone who are taking their finals too, let’s do this together!

I don't want to be interesting. I want to be good.

Oh, look at me trying to get out of my comfort zone! This is typically how I look when I wake up early in the morning and have time to put myself together in time for class. Just something simple with pieces I can use with other outfits and colors that can match with anything. And of course, the most important thing being comfortable! Most of the time I wear sneakers because sometimes I actually do need to run to move around to get to my classes on time. A fishtail braid because I didn't know what more to do with my hair which is getting too long and messy. Lately I've been using a lot of white...I don't know if it's because of the weather and time changing or just because it's time to change a bit my usually all black/gray outfits.

No longer a blonde!

I know this isn't exciting for all of you, but it's for me! For years I had contemplated the idea of turning my hair red. It always looked like a fun color, very bright; but I never had the courage to actually do it. Until last Friday I actually made that come true and this was the result. It isn’t exactly the shade of red I want, but I love it. I was already tired of having blonde hair so this is a good change. 

I believe changes are good. Don't you?
