Relax, It's Sunday!

I always need some time for myself whether that be on a Friday night or a Sunday morning. Start the day with some coffee, taking my time making the espresso and heating the milk. I enjoy those moments especially alone or with great company having a small talk. Then I have a break to read at least one chapter from a book. I'm really enjoying "How to be Parisian Wherever You Are" it is surprisingly funnier than expected. It's a fun read if you like dark humor. At the same time it has some more informative chapters, recipes which I would like to know if someone has tried them and of course, amazing photographs! Plus, I do love how many list there are in this book. I do like...no, I love lists! Especially with bullet points, thank you.

In the beauty department, it's rare for me to wear red nail polish but I've been loving this Essie one called "Fishnet Stockings". It looks really bright in the pictures, but if you apply two coats it is more like a deep red. Actually one of my 2015 resolutions is to wear more red. It's a color it has never grabbed my attention before since I always think it looks very daring and bright, the opossite of what I like - black and neutrals. So I'm going to try to add some red in my wardrobe and even wear red lips once in a while. I really like the look of red lips and it would be something different than my usuall which is MAC "Shy Girl".

The last thing on my list for today, study time. Kind of! The semester is starting soon and I'm going to be taking two language courses!! Hopefully I can manage that. Therefore I need to clear my mind first and review, review, review.

Hope you're having a nice Sunday!

But first, coffee.

How many cups of coffee can one take? This is what uni finals do to me! But on the other hand, I finally finished reading Not That Kind of Girl. Now I'm looking around what to read next. I'm thinking about The Maze Runner, How to be Parisian Wherever You Are or We Were Liars. I'm interested in those at the moment. Do you like reading? Recommendations are always welcome!

Happy Sunday!

Oh look, it's coffee o'clock!

Happy National Coffee Day! One of my favorite things is to have some free time and enjoy a great cup of coffee especially with loved ones. It's a great time to catch up with friends, have little chats with family members, have a laugh and feel the rich warmth of coffee, especially on chilly days which are around the corner. And of course to celebrate here one of my favorite videos about coffee, oh yes!

Have a great week!

For the Coffee Lovers

I’m loving this idea of taking mini road trips in the summer instead of doing the usual: staying at home, reading and going to the beach. It’s fun to get out and go to different, unusual places and enjoy the beautiful things that your hometown can offer. Just because we live here doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy it. Plus it’s fun to act like a 'tourist' when going to these places.

Last week we took another short road trip, and by we I mean my mom, sister and I. Like coffee lovers that we are, if you haven't noticed that I post a lot of coffee related stuff, we went to this little coffee museum located in the mountains. My mom knew about this place for a while and wanted to have a look. I’m glad we did! It was very interesting knowing a little inside in how coffee grounds are made, how different they are and taste differ depending on the country and the different ways to brew it. At the outside of the museum (didn't take much pictures inside) they have a little shop where they serve...coffee. Since it's located in the mountains it has  a great view. It’s a nice place to sit for a while, enjoy the view, have a chat and drink amazing coffee. It was a very hot day so we decided to go for an iced latte that was delicious. I could say one of the best iced lattes I ever had, the taste was just perfect. Pretty sure we are going back very soon.
